The Institute recognises experienced small business coaches through the “Master of Small Business” accreditation.

This website will provide resources, information and updates on the latest business management thinking from around the world, for both small business owners and coaches alike. The institute is active in researching and developing “best practice” business coaching packages and methodologies specifically for small businesses.

What is a “Small” Business?

We define a small business as a business where the owner (s) has his or her hands on all the levers. Once a business starts to have departments, is spread out across a region or country and employ “C” level executives we believe it is no longer a “small” business. The needs of a “small” business as defined by us are very different to those of businesses in the next tier.

Small Business equals quality of life

The Institute also specifically aims itself at those Small Businesses who choose to stay small. This doesn’t mean the owner is a slave to the business, quite the opposite The Institute is focused primarily on supporting business owners to create businesses that provide them and their employees with a level of satisfaction in life and work that they would not be able to obtain otherwise.
